Based on the  Journal To The Self ® Curriculum and the work of Kay Adams
  • This full day workshop explores the clinical research, theory, and application of therapeutic writing. 
  • Participants will experience ten varied journaling techniques first-hand and will identify the practical and ethical considerations for effective journal writing.
  • Clinicians and health professionals will learn how to make writing more meaningful for their clients and themselves. 
  • Journaling can be used as a powerful expressive therapy, a means of professional self-care and self-supervision, a jumpstart for creative writing, an organizational and project management tool, and more.

 According to clinical research, journaling can benefit overall health, including lower blood pressure,increased immune functioning, decreased stress, and improved mental health.
